Job Description
The Drivers & Swampers are to deliver appliances to customers and builders in Calgary and surrounding areas in a safe manner, on-time, while providing a positive representation of the company. Drivers must have 5-ton driving experience.

Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move appliances using basic product handling equipment. This includes existing homes, new builds and commercial properties.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles and ensure that all products are loaded correctly and appropriately
- Manage routes and accompanying work orders provided for the day
- Prepare sites and properties to ensure a safe delivery and minimize damages
- Document delivery statuses and track route progression
- Report damages and/or delivery complications requiring follow-up attention to Operations Managers and Site Supervisors
Requirements and Qualifications
- Drivers must have 5-ton driving experience. Swampers do not require driving experience.
- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures
- Attend requested safety and training meetings and/or courses
- Physically fit with the ability to maneuver and transport large and heavy items (>100lbs)
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and confident in problem-solving or troubleshooting
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to establish strong working and customer relationships
- Drivers must have a valid Alberta class 5 license, with commercial driving experience being an asset. Swampers do not require this class license.
- Basic knowledge of Calgary and surrounding areas is preferred
- Experience in delivering and/or moving appliances, furniture, or other large items is an asset, but not required.

- Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
- Handling customer orders and paperwork associated with the order
- Loading and unloading of crated and uncrated appliances, furniture. parts. commercial goods
- Administrative duties (filling out and creating spreadsheets, daily emails, completing checklists and inventory checks)

Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors, coworkers and delivery staff
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker, specifically with Shipping and Receiving
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Current forklift licence an asset
- High school degree
- Clean driver’s abstract and experience driving a 5-ton preferred (no air brakes needed, only Class 5)
- Familiar with spreadsheets, digital documents, daily email communications
